Today's glamourous real wedding couple Liv & Jonathan (JJ) said I do in one of the most breathtaking places in the USA — the iconic Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. Nestled in the heart of Miami, Vizcaya Gardens—known as one of the top wedding venues in the U.S.—set the stage for a celebration that was timeless, romantic, and unforgettable. With its historic charm, European-inspired architecture, and lush waterfront gardens, every corner was a picture-perfect moment for this pair who planned an Italian-infused celebration. From the intimate ceremony to the dreamy reception under the stars, love filled the air and history was made once again within the storied walls. For the couple it was so important that their 250 guests had a night to remember and just wait until you see how they celebrated their happily ever after! Photographer team Rock & Love Weddings captured every treasured moment and gorgeous detail with exquisite beauty.

Shortly after Liv and JJ went out one night together with some friends at 15 and 16 years old, they became high school sweethearts. Years later, in the summer of 2024, JJ (somewhat) proposed while they were on a trip around Europe. Liv fills us in on their very relaxed proposal! "It was the first day of our trip that we do ever year and we were getting ready for dinner with some friends in our Airbnb in Spain and I (who is the packer for both of us and organized in our relationship) went through his suitcase to find a t-shirt I wanted him to wear for dinner that night." What I didn't know was that he's siting right next to me praying that I don’t find the ring (which I did not know he had!). I picked up the ring boxed and we both just looked at each other and started laughing. I just put the ring box back where I found it and we laughed about it and after he went to shower, I was putting on my jewelry and he tapped me on the back and asked me to marry him. I am very happy with how this happened though because I wanted a
very chill, intimate proposal and that's exactly what I got.

Once engaged, the pair began planning an Italian-inspired celebration in Miami. Liv telling, "I really wanted to get married in Italy, but I have a very large family with a lot of babies and since we are so young we did not want to pressure our friends to travel so far for us! So vizcaya was really my only wedding venue that I wanted to get married at! She laughs, "I'm very stubborn so it was that or the courthouse!".

And the vibe? "I am 25% Italian, on my dads side, and always wanted to get married there. So since I couldn’t I tried to capture that feeling/aesthetic. I was going for a very Italian, high-end vintage, ethereal vibe and I think everything perfectly captured my vision!"

Together with their wedding dream team, the couple created an unforgettable day and night for their guests with unique details such a ceremony as the sun set, a dinner set in fairytale surroundings (with perfect silverware collected by the bride) and a cigar rolling bar.

"I was very picky about the little details, for example I bought new silverware for every place seating that I spent hours looking for online until I found the perfect silverware set with the most beautiful antique design (and now I have 250 full sets of silverware sitting in my home!)."

On March 20, 2025, the bride got ready alongside her mom, sisters, mom, and her precious dog moose, along with her best friend Sabrina Ouknine who did her bridal makeup to perfection.

Once her hair and makeup were aisle-ready, Liv slipped into her incredible wedding dress - a custom Galia Lahav Couture creation. She paired her gown with white tulle heels from Jimmy Choo and simple gold earrings.

Bridesmaids complimented Liv in ultra chic black bridesmaids gowns in silhouettes that flattered each woman best. And the groom awaited Liv in a Loro Piana black tie suit and Christian Louboutin dress shoes.

Liv then walked down stone steps arm-in-arm with her mom and dad to meet JJ in the garden amongst a jaw-dropping floral display by Designs with Art.

On the top level of the hotel’s terrace, Liv and JJ and their 250 guests found their seats via hand-calligraphy on an epic mirror display and enjoyed an incredible dinner at sunset underneath fairytale draping.

The newlyweds shared a first dance to Yellow by Coldplay. "We are both procrastinators and didn’t choose a song or a dance until two nights before our wedding we thought it was time so we went to JJ’s cousins house at 10pm (she teaches dance) and we learned a choreographed dance to Morgan Wallen's Spin You Around which we both love but our parents didn’t want us dancing to a country song, so the morning of our wedding we decided to completely change the song and just figure out a dance as we go, we choose Yellow by Coldplay but I didn’t realize how NOT of a slow dance song it is, so looking back I probably would’ve chose something else."

"However, the most special part of the night was my father daughter dance, it meant a lot to me and funny story, I sent the DJ the wrong song so I was surprised when it started playing and I had no idea what song it was, so we winged that as well!".

Later that night, Liv changed into a fun party dress and guests were brought by chartered bus to the couple's after party at Club Allenby in Miami where the party recommenced on the dance floor!

At the end of the night, Liv and JJ made their grand exit, and the following week set off on their mini moon to Mexico. "Our 'real' honeymoon is soon, we are spending 17 days in Africa on a safari/island trip before coming back home for two weeks and spending 3 weeks in Europe with friends."

Liv's top wedding tip? "Once the day starts, forget about everything and logistics and how things are looking and going and just enjoy because its too late to do anything at that point!."

Congratulations Liv and JJ! A very special thank you to our wonderful couple and Rock & Love Weddings for sharing today's glam Vizcaya Museum wedding with One Fab Day!
