It’s super tricky to pick a favourite element of Jessica & Éanna's wedding day at The Dean Townhouse, you guys. Jessica's bespoke wedding dress (paired with her lush hair colour!) is giving us life, Éanna's bottle green velvet jacket from The Groom's Room at Diffney is smokin', the colourpop flowers are a treat for our eyes and the hot pink bridesmaid dresses are just a dream. Add some custom couple-designed wedding rings by Silver Works and the epic Katie Kav behind the lens and you’ve got this supercool couple’s absolutely killer day! There’s an abundance of inspo below for those planning a colour-filled day, or a celebration in the city. Let's get stuck in!

Dublin couple Jessica & Éanna's love story begans over 16 years ago. Jessica fills us in, "We've been friends for 16 years and together for 10. Throughout various relationships and life stages, we always found our way back to each other. In 2014, we took the leap and started our adventure together, filled with countless holidays and cherished memories."

Getting her to the ceremony on time, Jessica travelled to The Dean Townhouse in her dad's vintage Volkswagen Beetle.

When it came time to pop the question, Jessica tells us Éanna choose a low-key, yet super sweet proposal which was, "at home with breakfast in bed – Perfect!".

"We knew we wanted it to be in Dublin city as soon as we started planning," the bride shares. "The Dean had always been a contender when we looked at weddings in the blue room but it wasn't a big enough venue for the numbers we wanted. When we went to view the Townhouse had just been completed and we managed to get a sneak peek. From the moment we walked in we knew it was perfect for us. Big enough, but also cosy and central."

Aesthetically, Jessica knew they wanted a wedding filled with colour and fun, " It started with a Pinterest board and then just rolled from there". To help bring their vision to life, the pair enlisted the help of Grace from Styled by Grace for styling their venue and Heather from Flowerpop for florals. Jessica Olivia from Pink Moon Designs created the stationery for the day while Colhoun Creations made the couple's flower-topped cake.

On 21st September 2024, Jessica made her way down the aisle to her beloved Éanna in front of 74 of their nearest and dearest. Fiona Wallace of Spiritual Ceremonies officiated the heartfelt ceremony, before the couple exchanged vows and bespoke wedding rings which they designed and created themselves during a jewellery workshop with Silver Works Dublin.

The pair chose a One Fab Day favourite - Wedding Poem by Whitney Hanson for a wedding reading which they say was a standout moment of the day.

When asked what was their main priorities when planning their day, the bride says, "To not get to overwhelmed and stressed and just relax into the day. We enlisted a great team to allow us to take a step back and for them to work their magic which definitely helped with achieving that."

After being announced as married, the newlyweds and their wedding party took to the city streets for portraits (and some sneaky pints at Devitts Pub!) with their photographer Katie Kav, before returning back to their colourful reception in The Dean Townhouse's The Marshall Room.

For their stylish and fun celebration in the city, Jessica found her dress outside of the typical bridal boutiques. She ultimately chose a custom design by Roisin Cross Silks which had a removable top. She completed her wedding day look with contemporary gold drop earrings from One Dame Lane and soft gold heels from Aldo.

To perfectly contrast Jessica, Éanna wore a lush green velvet jacket and tux combo from The Groom's Room at Diffney.

Jessica's bridesmaids rocked cerise pink midi bridesmaids dresses which were a clever find from River Island, completed with gold sandals from ASOS. The couple's flower girls looked adorable in a zesty chartreuse dresses from Next.

There, the reception space was filled to the brim with bright florals, colourful candles, an audio guestbook and a polaroid table plan featuring images of the guests which the couple DIY'd themselves. "Our seating chart was something special we wanted to do it double as a wedding favour to allowing our guests to take their photos home with them."

A delicious dinner and heart-warming speeches concluded with Jessica & Éanna going into their first dance to September by Earth Wind & Fire (a fun nod to their wedding date!) and cutting their wedding cake from Colhoun Creations.

Later on, the dancefloor filled and the whole party danced until the early hours. The happy couple celebrated even further during their honeymoon Kos, Greece.

After planning such a stylish day, the couple have this stellar advice for other couples currently wedding planning, "Try not to get overwhelmed with every minor detail." They add, "Allow your suppliers a little creative freedom as there is a reason you picked them."

Summing up their wedding in a couple of words, the pair tell us it was the "Best day ever!". "We wished for a day which was colourful, fun and filled with laughs, which is exactly what we got."

Congratulations Jessica & Éanna! A very special thank you to the couple and to Katie Kav Photography for sharing this magnificent wedding with One Fab Day. There are also plenty more amazing photos from their city celebration to check out in the gallery below!
