Sinéad and Lloyd married on a fabulous June day and their wedding truly felt like a fairytale. 150 of their loved ones joined them at the romantic 17th century manor house Castle Durrow for their elegant yet fun celebration, it was a dream come true. With sophisticated glamour marrying with playfully vibrant blooms, pure magic awaits. Dzifa of Folklore Photography captured all the love, so let's jump into their incredible day now...

Sinéad is from Roscommon and Lloyd is from Waterford but they met fleetingly for the first time at a friend's house party in Cork. Sinéad tells us, "When I decided to make 'the big' move down there (for education obviously - nothing to do with the strapping young Lloyd lol) he decided he'd had enough and wanted to study in Amsterdam. Luckily I love a good city break and so the long distance love affair commenced!"

Lloyd proposed in Amsterdam where they had fallen in love, how sweet! It was a not-so-surprise weekend getaway, "This was after they found out the hard way that Sinéad's (fantastic) dad cannot keep a secret post Lloyd 'doing the honourable thing' and asking him first. That'll teach him! It was a beautiful weekend nonetheless, with the proposal popped by Lloyd on our own rented boat with some bubbles on the River Amstel."

Simply spectacular! The bride sourced her lustrous halterneck Eva Lendel gown at Brummell & Co. in Athlone which she wore with Kurt Geiger heels, pearl jewellery and an elegant birdcage veil by Lucia Stofej. "My parents in law also got me a gorgeous bracelet to wear on the day and keep forever after."

Their dream for their wedding day was to throw a big party to celebrate love! "Old and new, lovers, family and friends - with everyone leaving with hearts full - and we like to think we achieved that from the wonderful moments captured by our photographer Dzifa at Folklore Photography in our photos."

Sinéad and Lloyd tied the knot in the spectacular ballroom which boasts sparkling crystal chandeliers, gilded mirrors and hand painted silk panels on the walls.

Looking for bright and breathtaking summer bouquet inspiration? Look no further than the beautiful bunches creates by Michelle Mulhall of Gypsy Rose Wildflower.

Sinéad's bridesmaids added an injection of joyful colour to the style in their sky blue satin gowns by Omnes.

Seeing their adorable niece and nephew walking down the aisle is a memory that the couple will always cherish.

Sinéad's wonderful sisters and mum were integral to bringing their dream day to life, they were not only emotional supports but personal wedding planners for the bride in the weeks leading up to the big day. "They did everything from booking appointments, decorating the ceremony room for us, forming a production line for wedding bits and bobs."

They wanted their loved ones to come away from the celebration feeling like they knew them not just as individuals but as a couple too and their celebrant Feargh Curtis was key to achieving this. "We couldn't have asked for anyone better to do so with the unique, emotional and frankly hilarious ceremony he performed for us."

Their ceremony music included a rousing rendition of Your Song by Elton John by their dear friend Niamh Kelly that was beautifully accompanied by Duet Justice.

The drinks reception was held on the lawn in front of the glorious manor house and guests could treat themselves to scrumptious scoops from the vintage-style ice cream bike. We love the candy-hued striped blazers!

Castle Durrow happens to lie halfway between their home places. Through the years the village had became a great halfway spot to meet with their parents and they regularly enjoyed walks on the grounds of the castle. "The first time we visited Castle Durrow was hosting a wedding, and our newly acquainted mums gave each other a wink and a nudge saying what a fantastic venue it would make... so it was a front runner from the get go. Upon speaking to the lovely Tessa and Robin who run the venue with the amazing team there, we knew it was perfect for us."

Lloyd and his leading gents served up classic black-tie glamour in tuxes from M&S Autograph. Bringing a hint of Old Hollywood flair, the dashing groom popped from the pack with his white jacket and they all wore colourful buttonholes.

Dzifa of Folklore Photography captured every magical moment and delightful detail, they couldn't recommend her enough. "Dzifa was so easy to deal with from our first meeting - super clear, professional, and friendly - and together with her stunning portfolio it was a no brainer. Dzifa made sure to really understand our personalities, only through a few short calls, so that she could capture the day/moments that she knew mattered most to us and that's really shine through in the work produced. On the day it was so easy and natural working with Dzifa, and I typically hate the camera so that's quite the skill!"

Hairstylist Elaine Holden and makeup artist Dawn Ryan Fahey not only created her breathtaking bridal beauty look but they put everyone completely at our ease the minute they walked through the door on the morning of the wedding.

From sweet squiggles to delicate floral illustrations, their stationery perfectly encapsulated their elegant-meets-fun theme.

The bride's friend made her a truly unforgettable gift, a photo album with photos and notes from close family and friends. We can imagine happy tears flowed when she received it.

They first dance was simply epic! They did the dance from Pulp Fiction to You Never Can Tell by Chuck Berry.

They will forever cherish the memories of celebrating their day of love with their nearest ans dearest. "Sorry to be a cliché but it really was the best day of our lives with the best people. The best people obviously included all of our beautiful family and friends, but what also came as a pleasant surprise were all the fantastic vendors that we'd met in the lead up to and during the big day."

Their top piece of wedding planning advice for couple is to relax! "Everyone is there to celebrate you guys and nothing else matters. Be organised, but don't stress about the little things - no one will notice but you." They also say that if you are not having a videographer to make sure to ask a friend to video all of the ceremony and speeches. "We didn't and it's our only regret."
