The Space at Martinstown House
At the end of an enchanting pathway and tucked into the laurel trees is The Woodlands, a hidden, tranquil ceremony space built from the foundations of the old glasshouse. Reclaimed materials, a crystal chandelier and creative touches create one of Ireland’s most unique wedding spots that can be used no matter what the Irish weather has in store. Be sure to spot the old Californian redwood tree at the entrance.
Martinstown House is licensed by the HSE for civil ceremonies and welcomes ceremonies of all types. Local country churches are also nearby for couples seeking traditional religious ceremonies.

The Food and Drink at Martinstown House
The team is incredibly proud of their food at Martinstown House. Every dish is prepared from scratch using the finest ingredients, with a strong focus on local and organically grown produce.
Much of the herbs are grown onsite, and other ingredients are sourced as locally as possible, like from Ballyfair Farm up the road who provide strawberries, honey, and vegetables; Margaret, who provides exceptional organic chickens; and Nolan’s of Kilcullen, who supply award-winning sausages and meat.
Head Chef Andrew trained at Ballymaloe, Rick Stein’s in Padstow, and in Goa, India. He can cater for any number of guests and dietary requirements, and is available to discuss your menu at any stage.
