"Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic, PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse extends our perceptions of the browns from being humble and grounded to embrace aspirational and luxe," Pantone writes on the announcement.

9. Wedding Content Creators
Big in 2024, set to be HUGE in 2025, Content Creators are becoming an essential wedding supplier for many couples. If you're all about getting the perfect image for the 'gram or video for Tik Tok, then this wedding service thatās gaining momentum is one for you! As well as a great professional photographer and videographer, couples are now adding in a wedding content creator to their day for more casual 'in the moment' footage.
Unlike a photographer or a videographer, (which are two crucial wedding suppliers to include on your team of pros!), a wedding content creator is booked to show up on the wedding day and shoot behind the scenes images and videos on a phone, creating social-media worthy content to post in real-time and after, so you and your wedding party can relax and be present on the day, rather than spending time on phones posting footage and images from the wedding.

10. Sustainability
While sustainability shouldn't be a trend, it will feature heavily in 2025 wedding plans, with couples opting for more low-waste ideas and options. Whether it's locally-grown blooms, looking for recyclable fashion options or more sustainable wedding wardrobe ideas, or learning how to cut back on unnecessary flower and decor waste, searches for ethical and sustainable wedding options are continually on the rise.

Beloved for their eye-catching charm, East-West engagement rings have become really popular among cool couples looking for something different.
The East-West engagement ring style adopts a classic silhouette, which is offset with a horizontally placed elongated stone across the band. Flipped on the side so it sits perpendicular to the finger, the horizontal placement of the center stone takes up more finger space and makes the stone look even bigger. Who doesnāt love that?

12. Sky-High Wedding Cakes
In 2025, bigger truly is better when it comes to the wedding cake. We're seeing more and more sky-high, multi-tiered vintage-style cakes taking centre stage and wedding cake designers truly showcasing their incredible craftsmanship that will have your guests wondering if they are real or fake! One of our favourite colour trends in a while, modern punchy palettes are popping up everywhere from abstract tablescapes, to flowers, stationery and cake. The main idea of this colour trend is to combine different colours and hues but with clean lines to break them up - from stripes to checkers. The more different they are, the bolder the contrast will be. This unique wedding style also has no fear of being ott whatsoever. Defo one for the colour lovers, weāre very excited about seeing this trend come to life in our real weddings!

Not only is it drop-dead-gorgeous, it's also a pretty practical trend too, fabric drapery is ideal for hiding unsightly fixtures or for covering areas you don't want to see, and adds an incredibly romantic ambiance.

18. The Calla Lily Bouquet
While we love the drama of maximalist, oversized bouquets that have been trending over the last few years, we're swooning hard over the Calla Lily bouquet trend that's currently on the rise. Not only are these minimal one flower bouquets totally gorgeous, but they're generally more affordable, easier to manage on the day, and they allow your dress to take centre stage. Plus, with it's sleek, modern, and clean and design and characteristic trumpet shape - Calla lilies mix well with other flowers or can easily stand alone. We predict these slick posies to become big news.

19. Unique Reception Table Configurations
In 2025, we're saving a seat at the trend table for unique and creative reception table layouts and configurations making a standout design statement and adding a dose of romantic drama to the dinner reception. Moving away from classic long and round table set-ups, non-traditional table shapes such as serpentine, half-circle, full-circle, curved and U-shaped configurations will dominate, create more unique and visually engaging dining experiences.

20. Wedding Photography & Videography Trends
Over the past couple of years, wedding photography and videography have evolved massively creating some truly visually stunning and emotionally captivating trends. Hot wedding photography and videography trends that we are seeing more of and are set to be big in 2025 are:
- Black and white stills and video
- Blur motion photography
- 35mm Film photography
- 90s-style direct flash photography
- Candid photography
- Cinematic documentary-style wedding films
- QR digital photo albums
Black and white imagery is having quite a moment, as is blur motion photography, which plays with light, movement, film cameras and different sort of prisms. With its edgy celebrity vibes, 90s-style direct flash photography has also become increasingly popular with couples. Searches for film wedding photography has also increased substantially in the last year, marking it too as a clear growing trend for 2025 weddings and beyond.

21. Sheet Cakes
Simple, flat sheet wedding cakes were once the unsung hero of the wedding reception, sliced into squares in the back kitchen and served after the couple ceremoniously cuts their (faux, or too small to feed everyone) main wedding cake. But these nostalgic sweets are taking centre stage and becoming the centerpiece of the dessert table. Practical, and pretty, we're loving this as a budget friendly wedding cake option.

22. Fine Art & Avant Garde Styling
From flowers and stationery to the cake and styling, 2025 will also see a shift toward artistic and avant garde wedding decor. More stationers, florists, cake designers and stylists are pushing the limits of traditional styles, crafting boldly unique wedding day paperie, artsy arrangements and centerpieces, sculptural spaces, unique museum-esque reception set-ups and show-stopping cakes that are true works of art in their own right. Expect clean lines, minimalist elegance and dramatic installations blending architectural design with fine-art aesthetics.

Bold dinnerware patterns and colourful tabletop linens - we predict there will be major pattern play adorning wedding tables in 2025!

As well as the photography and videography trends listed above, we're also seeing a spike in late night wedding shots and afterparty direct flash flat lays. Popular in the 1990s - it really shows off how fun the party was!

25. Champagne Tower Tables
While 2023 and 2024 may have been the start of the Champagne tower trend, 2025 is showing us that this trend is going no where and will be bigger than ever this year with show-stopping Champagne tables featuring romantic drapery, bows, and ruffly tablecloths. A visual spectacle, and a great opportunity to capture epic photos, there's something so glamourous about this elevated Champagne tower display. Whether ruffled, tiered, draped, or trailing off the table like a magnificent train, this trend is frilly, fancy, and fun ā who doesnāt love that?
