Smitten doesn't even begin to cover how we feel about today's absolutely magical real wedding at Tankardstown House. Joined by 135 of their loved ones, Amy and Ross tied the knot on a sun-kissed April day with a celebration brimming with the prettiest flowers. It was the relaxed fairytale that the easy-going couple dreamt of and their favourite people made every moment worth cherishing for a lifetime. The timeless aesthetic was anchored by a delicate palette of soft pastels. Once you see the gentle and utterly gorgeous photos by Studio Brown we know you'll agree the results were effortlessly divine.

Before diving into the details of their sensationally chic wedding day let's get to know the happy couple! Both originally from Meath, Amy is from Navan and Ross is from Longwood. They met in the gym over five years ago but it was swiping right on Tinder that sealed the deal and got things moving. Their proposal was intimate and magical. "Ross proposed in Bali, Ubud, over breakfast on our balcony. We were the only two to know for hours due to the time difference, this made it even more special."

The sophisticated spring suiting for the groom and his groomsmen was courtesy of Collar and Cuff.

Tankardstown House is blessed with such picturesque surroundings and the couple held their ceremony outdoors. Bathed in gentle spring light with whimsical floral arrangements popping with pretty pastels and lush eucalyptus, it was a real-life fairytale.

Exuding contemporary elegance, Amy sourced her breathtaking gown with statement ruched sleeves from Love Ellie Bridal which she accessorised with a pretty pearl-dappled veil and pearl drop earrings.

For the couple, it was imperative that their celebration was relaxed, stess free and full of laughter. "We are easy going people (Ross especially!) and wanted the day the feel that way."

The theme of their wedding was "a light, airy and romantic spring day" and we are loving every single detail.

Their ceremony included the sweet Celtic handfasting ritual and they exchanged rings from Bespoke Diamonds.

"The sun shone on us the whole day which allowed us to have the first outdoor wedding of the season in Tankardstown. We felt so lucky and grateful," the bride shares.

It doesn't get sweeter than having your leading ladies in sage... The green bridesmaids gowns with ruched off-the-shoulder necklines were from ASOS.

The storybook-pretty gardens brimming with fragrant flowers and abundant foliage formed the most gorgeous backdrop for their wedding photos.

Soft, sweet and brimming with delicate pale hues, the bridal bouquet by Total Flowers was feminine and seriously romantic.

Their guests mingled inside and out soaking up the splendour of the effortlessly luxurious wedding venue before dinner.

The reception styling in the light-filled Orangery included crisp white tablecloths, tall silver candelabras while menus boasted delicate floral and foliage illustrations. Overhead, lush greenery was hung alongside the sparkling chandeliers.

Why not give your wedding cake the crown it deserves with a stylish or fun topper? The couple set the bar high with theirs!

"The venue’s aesthetic was exactly what we were after. Some rooms are luxurious and dark while others are bright with the sun streaming through. There’s plenty of space for movement and the interior is fabulous," the bride explains.

"The day was made so special mostly through our guests. Everyone was genuinely so joyful and wanted a good day and night. The love and joy was tangible," she reminisces.

The groom chose their first dance song, Kingdom Come by Coldplay. Amy reflects, "It was perfect for us. The song played in Dublin airport two days later while we were on the way to our honeymoon. The emotions nearly got the better of me (Amy) at that moment! What a crazy coincidence, it’s not a song played too often."

They'd highly recommend their honeymoon destination: Japan. "It’s a once in a life time trip and seems ‘other worldly’ at times. Ross organised this whole trip as I organised the whole wedding - balance!"
