The inspiration for today's utterly dreamy blue wedding inspiration shoot was sparked by a conversation between photographer Heledd Roberts and Fran of My Beespoke Bakehouse, centering around the iconic Harriet Wilde heels and their delicate gold floral embellishments. That single, intricate detail became the catalyst for Fran’s vision for a beautifully curated cake design—and in turn, ignited Heledd’s creative direction. From there, a romantic, old-world concept in soft, dreamy shades of blue began to unfold.

Inspired by this classic palette, the creative team, led by Heledd, collaborated closely planner Lauren Mary Jade and Rachel from La Beau Fleurs to build on that foundation. They carefully layered in gentle pinks and warm beige hues to create a look that felt effortlessly dreamy and refined. The overall aesthetic echoed the charm of a romantic French wedding, beautifully reimagined in the heart of the UK and brought to life with married model couple Holly & Liam. Set against the backdrop of Grade II listed house Garthmyl Hall and its picturesque grounds, the entire scene felt like a little slice of France, lovingly brought to life in Wales.

At a time when many modern wedding trends favour a more casual, undone aesthetic, this blue wedding inspiration shoot was conceived as a celebration of timeless elegance and intentional design. With subtle nods to contemporary style, it honours refined romance and the beauty of thoughtfully crafted details.

The gowns for the shoot were thoughtfully selected from Timeless Bridal, a beautiful new boutique based in Cheshire. Two romantic designs by Katy Corso were chosen for their ethereal, floaty details that perfectly echoed the shoot’s soft and elegant aesthetic.

The bride’s floral accessories from Opheliaren Bridal paired alongside the embroidered lace sleeves add delicate detail, while the groom’s soft grey suit and navy tie from Masuit Menswear bring a timeless, refined balance.

The décor centered around timeless elegance, thoughtfully styled to complement the natural beauty of the walled garden. A delicate floral arch designed by Rachel from La Beau Fleurs created a romantic focal point that felt as though it had always belonged in the space.

The bouquet was a dreamy gathering of soft-toned blooms—garden roses, sweet pea, and delicate delphinium—tied with a flowing silk ribbon in the most romantic shade of blue, offering a graceful nod to 'something blue' tradition.

The shoot featured not one, but two inspiring tablescapes. One in the stunning formal gardens and the other beneath an ancient tree.

Both tablescapes featured soft blue tones and layers of texture which came together through custom embroidered napkins from Bespoke Table Dressing, airy seasonal floral by La Beau Fleurss, and curated rentals from Options Great Hire. Detailed charger plates brought an added layer of refinement, beautifully contrasted against the blue linens from Château Noir.

The stationery by JBC Stationery was the perfect finishing touch—featuring gold-pressed lettering, floral motifs, and playful tassel details, it tied the entire look together with charm and sophistication.

Set against the manicured gardens of Garthmyl Hall, this tender moment between real life couple Holly and Liam couple perfectly captures the timeless elegance of the shoot. The bride’s flowing gown and soft blue ribbon detail echo the romantic tones of the day, while the towering cake, framed by lush florals, adds an ethereal focal point in the background. Surrounded by nature and love, the scene feels straight out of a modern fairytale.

The show-stopping wedding cake is a true work of art—elegant, sculptural, and full of delicate detail. Designed by My Beespoke Bakehouse, the towering creation draws its inspiration from the ornate gold floral embellishments found on a pair of Harriet Wilde heels. Echoing the shoes’ timeless romance, the cake features fine hand-painted blue florals, cascading sugar blooms, and an architectural silhouette that feels both modern and regal. Perched atop a pedestal-like base and accented with soft, powder-blue touches, it brings a couture-level elegance to the dessert table.

To introduce a contemporary contrast, a minimalist gown by Evie Young was also included—its clean lines and refined silhouette brought a modern edge to the overall look. The interplay between classic romance and modern simplicity created a balanced and effortlessly sophisticated bridal style.
