Today's wedding film by Edithouse is an absolute riot of fun! Muireann and Patrick tied the knot in an autumn celebration brimming with bold colours with an ecstatic vibe from beginning to end. Muireann is from Dublin and Patrick is from Reading and their forever began after they swiped right on Tinder. They love music, festivals and dancing, in fact their first date was at a house party and their fifth was at Glastonbury Festival, and their big day was a melting pot of those vibes. Patrick was excited to fly his loved ones over from England and Muireann is an architect so finding the right venue was very important! They were instantly obsessed with Borris House and Muireann relished the opportunity to get her DIY on, she designed and made the stationary and the table and aisle flowers with help from the bridesmaids. They also decorated the cake made by her mum and aunt too!
Who says you have to wear white to your wedding? Muireann's sensational bridal look included a green satin gown with statement puff sleeves while dapper groom Patrick opted for a blue tweed suit by Magee 1866. The couple hit the aisle together and their ceremony included a ring warming ritual and rousing performances of songs they love such as No Tomorrow by Orson and Modern Love by David Bowie by their friends.
At the drinks reception the bride even joined in for a few tunes on the flute and tin whistle. Their reception also included a photo wall with pictures of their loved ones which proved to be a wonderful conversation starter. They held their afterparty in the shebeen which was decked out in Reading FC memorabilia where the musical session continued. The Day Two included a dip in the River Barrow followed by food and drink in Joyce’s Bar and sweetly a couple of weeks later the newlyweds found out they were expecting!
